All about the toothbrush
Everyone knows the importance of brushing your teeth daily and attending regular checkups at the dentist, but not everyone considers the importance of their toothbrush.
Key takeaways:
– Your toothbrush should have soft bristles as hard bristles can damage your enamel if applied too vigorously
– You should replace your toothbrush regularly – either every 3 months, when the bristles are frayed or if you’ve been ill
– Make sure you keep your toothbrush somewhere where it can air and dry properly and not touching anyone else’s toothbrush
Also, a 15-minute soak in mouthwash will help to deep-clean the brush and bristles.
