The Invisalign process:
Stage 1: Your free consultation
During the initial consultation, your Church Road Dental & Cosmetics dentist will talk you through the treatment process and assess whether or not you are a suitable candidate for Invisalign. If you are an appropriate candidate, impressions and photographs of your teeth will then be taken so that your aligners can be custom-made at the Invisalign laboratory. The initial consultation is available to clients from Stockport, Manchester and Cheadle, as well as clients based further afield. Many of our patients find us on the internt when seraching for Invisalign in Manchester or Stockport.
Stage 2: The clear aligners are manufactured by Invisalign
Invisalign uses sophisticated 3D computer technology to produce custom-made clear aligners from the impressions and photographs sent by your dentist. The number of aligners required depends on the individual and there may be as many as 48 or as few as 12.
Stage 3: You receive the new aligners
During your next visit to Church Road Dental & Cosmetics you will receive your new aligners. Each aligner should be worn for two weeks before being replaced with the next aligner in the series. We will usually give you a few aligners to wear before your next visit.
Stage 4: Treatment begins
Once you have your new aligners, your treatment can begin. You will wear each aligner for two weeks. The aligners should be worn all day, every day but you should remove them to eat and drink and to clean and floss your teeth. Treatment time usually takes between 6 and 12 months but this will vary according to the individual.
Stage 5: Treatment is complete
When you have finished wearing the last aligner in the series, your treatment will be complete and you can show off your beautiful new smile. Many of our patients that have completed Invisalign treatment have found us to be the best practice for Invisalign in Stockport and Manchester.
Stage 6: Complimentary whitening treatment
The treatment doesn't end there, though, as it's now time to reap the benefits of a complimentary whitening session to further enhance your dazzling smile.
