Hi, I’m Majed, one of the dentists here at Cheadle Hulme Dental & Cosmetics.

I am a focused and passionate dentist with a strong interest in restorative dentistry, dental implants and oral surgery. I believe in continually developing my skills and knowledge, and I am committed to learning, reflecting on my practice and providing the best possible care for my patients.

I completed my MSc in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute in London, where I developed a particular interest in treatment planning, tooth wear restoration and occlusal analysis and reorganisation. My dissertation was focused on dental implants, an area which continues to be one of my main clinical interests.

I also completed two years of Dental Core Training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at King’s College London and Sheffield. This experience significantly enhanced my oral surgery skills, particularly in complex extractions and surgical procedures.

My areas of interest include dental implants, complex extractions and oral surgery, tooth wear restoration, Invisalign® and intravenous sedation. I completed the Manchester Sedation Course in 2023, including 20 supervised cases using IV midazolam. This has allowed me to provide treatment involving minor oral surgery and implants for patients who may feel particularly nervous or anxious about dental treatment.

I am currently undertaking a Postgraduate Diploma in Implantology at the Institute for Clinical Excellence (ICE Hospital) in Salford, further building on my previous implant training and developing my knowledge and experience in this area.

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy keeping active and playing sport. During the winter I play football, while in the summer you’ll usually find me on the tennis court. I also love scuba diving and have completed my PADI qualification.

And when I’m not keeping active, you might spot me at Old Trafford cheering on United!

I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve a healthy, confident smile.
