Dermal Fillers in Manchester
The pursuit of ageing gracefully is one many of us share. Thanks to injectable and minimally invasive treatments like Dermal Fillers, this is completely possible. Dermal Fillers restore volume to specific sites across the face, improving skin texture and suppleness in the process. Our patients also love the fact that Dermal Fillers can be used to add volume and shape to areas naturally low in volume, including the lips and cheek areas.
At Cheadle Hulme, we are lucky to have the talents of experienced injector (and cosmetic dentist) Dr Susan McBride. Her treatments consistently exceed patient expectations, achieving natural-looking, symmetrical, and aesthetically pleasing results that last for between 9 and 12 months.
Natural skin renewal and volume restoration
Dermal Fillers restore lost volume, enhance facial contours, and smooth out static wrinkles (these are the wrinkles present when the face is at rest). The Dermal Fillers used by Dr Susan are made up of hyaluronic acid, a biocompatible substance that is naturally broken down by the body.
As hyaluronic acid is a substance organically made by the body, the process of getting Dermal Fillers simply increases the skin’s supply of it. This means it’s one of the most natural ways of defying ageing and increasing volume in desired areas across the face.
RADIESSE® Collagen Fillers at Cheadle Hulme
As part of our Dermal Filler treatment, we also offer the option of RADIESSE® collagen fillers.
RADIESSE® is a type of filler made up of calcium hydroxyapatite, a stiffer substance than hyaluronic acid that actively stimulates collagen within the skin. Its viscosity makes it particularly suited to areas that require strong support from fillers, including the chin, jawline and nasolabial folds. It also produces a longer-lasting effect of 3-18 months.
During your consultation, Dr Susan can advise you on the effects of both hyaluronic acid fillers and RADIESSE®, and which might be most suited to your expectations and skin’s present condition.

Dermal Fillers Manchester – the benefits of treatment
Dermal Fillers can be used in a range of enhancing ways. During your consultation, Clinical Facial Aesthetics Lead Dr Susan will make a full assessment of your skin and create an individual aesthetic goals and facial features plan to meet your expectations of treatment.
Some of the areas of the face that can be targeted include:
- Cheeks – fillers add volume and lift sagging skin.
- Nasolabial folds (smile lines) – they soften deep creases running from the nose to the mouth.
- Marionette lines – fillers reduce lines extending from the corners of the mouth downward.
- Lips – fillers enhance volume, shape, and symmetry. Dr Susan is highly experienced at providing local anaesthetics in her capacity as a dentist, making the procedure pain-free for our patients.
- Chin – improves chin projection and definition. Aids profile symmetry.
- Jawline – creates a more contoured and sculpted jawline.
- Tear troughs (under-eye hollows) – reduce dark circles and hollowness under the eyes.
- Non-surgical rhinoplasty – Dermal Fillers can improve the shape of the nose.
- Décolletage – immediate results for loss of volume and long-term improvement of lines and wrinkles by collagen stimulation.
Dermal Fillers Manchester – dentist-performed treatment
We cannot overstate how beneficial it is to seek treatment from a medical professional. Facial aesthetics treatments that involve injectables are medical procedures that should only ever be carried out by a clinical professional with sound knowledge of injection techniques. Choosing a qualified and experienced medical aesthetic injector is essential for achieving safe, natural, and satisfying results.
Dr Susan has been performing injectable aesthetics treatments for patients for over a decade. Her practice is rooted in the minimally invasive placement of fillers, whilst her background as a dentist has allowed her to gain a deep and nuanced understanding of skin anatomy. Her motto, ‘less is more,’ guides her approach in order to deliver the natural-looking results her patients see time and time again.
If you are thinking about going ahead with Dermal Fillers, but you would like to see if we are the right fit for you, we can offer a non-clinical appointment with Dr Susan to help you decide. It’s all about finding the right solution for you.
