The science behind Spark™
Spark™ is a nearly invisible aligner and a discreet alternative to traditional braces. In addition to a clearer and more comfortable design, Spark™ aligners are also free from BPAs, mercury, latex and phthalates.
Made with TruGEN™ technology, Spark™ features the latest innovations in clear aligner design for a near-invisible finish. Polished and scalloped edges also provide a more comfortable fit.
Spark™ aligners are designed for more efficient and effective tooth movement. Thanks to advanced, sustained force retention and better contact with the surface area of your teeth, Spark™ offers better and faster results.

TREATMENTS
Are Spark™ aligners a good fit for you?
Suitable for more than just one type of realignment, Spark™ can treat a variety of teeth-straightening cases, such as crowding, spacing, open bite, underbite, overbite, crossbite, overjet and more. If you're interested in a brace-free option for straightening your teeth, check the conditions below to see if you're a suitable candidate:
Crowding
This happens when there isn't enough room in the jaw for all the teeth to align properly, causing them to overlap or rotate.
Crossbite
A crossbite occurs when some of the upper teeth sit behind the lower teeth when you bite down.
Deep Bite
This condition is characterised by the upper front teeth significantly overlapping the lower front teeth when your back teeth are closed.
Open Bite
An anterior open bite is when your back teeth are touching, but there is a gap between your front teeth when you bite down.
Overjet
Excessive overjet is when the upper front teeth are positioned too far in front of the lower front teeth, sometimes protruding outward and not touching the lower teeth.
Spacing
Spacing issues arise when there is extra space in the jaw, leading to gaps between the teeth.
Underbite
An underbite occurs when the lower front teeth extend beyond the upper front teeth due to a lack of overjet.
Spark aligners are designed to address a range of alignment issues without the need for braces. However, treatment suitability is assessed individually, so our dental professionals will evaluate your specific needs before determining your treatment plan.

FAQs
How long does treatment with Spark™ aligners typically take?
Are Spark™ aligners comfortable to wear?
Yes, Spark™ aligners are designed with smooth, flexible materials that are generally comfortable and less likely to irritate your gums and cheeks compared to traditional braces. Most patients experience minimal discomfort as their teeth gradually shift into place.
Can I eat and drink with Spark™ aligners in?
It’s recommended to remove Spark™ aligners when eating or drinking anything other than water to avoid staining or damaging the aligners. After eating or drinking, you should brush your teeth and the aligners before putting them back in to maintain oral hygiene and aligner cleanliness.
What is the wear time for Spark™ aligners?
Patients switch between a new set of aligners every one to two weeks and need to wear them 22-24 hours daily (including when sleeping).
How often do I have check-ups?
Patients are invited to have their progress assessed in the practice every three or four months.
