Could Antibiotics Harm “Good” Bacteria?

We normally visit the dentist in order to address issues such as bacteria and problems with our teeth. However, there are certain bacteria which are actually beneficial to our oral health. What have some recent findings indicated?

– Taking too many antibiotics could kill these beneficial bacteria.

– It is best to limit the use of antibiotics so that “healthy” bacteria can thrive.

“A team of Case Western Reserve University researchers found that antibiotics actually kill the “good” bacteria keeping infection and inflammation at bay.”
