A new invention by a team of US researchers could automatically detect what food and drink you consume, providing an accurate log of dietary intake and factors that affect dental health.
– The tiny 2mm squared wireless sensor would be attached to a single tooth.
– As well as detecting alcohol, salt and glucose consumption, the sensor could also detect chemicals in saliva that are indicative of stress levels.
