Which of These Are Symptoms of Teething?
Contrary to popular belief, not all ailments that occur while baby is teething are caused by the new teeth:
– Teething only causes mild discomfort such as poor appetite, crying and swollen gums; other signs include drooling and chewing on things.
– It is important not to assume that vomiting is related to teething.
– Vomiting is more likely to be caused by bacteria, a virus or allergy; medical advice should be sought for any vomiting that lasts longer than 12 hours.
