A ‘dental therapists’ is a new type of dental professional who performs simple treatments like fillings and extracting teeth.

– A lot of states in the US are considering letting dental therapists help with dental care.

– Parents will no longer have to take their children to the emergency room, for a simple toothache.

– Your dentist will still be responsible for handling more serious treatments.

Note that dental therapists are required to complete a certain qualification standard.

This was my first time at this practice. When you walk in you are greeted cheerfully and professionally. My treatment plan was explained to me in detail and I was made to feel at ease. Everywhere was clean and modern.I have no hesitation in recommending them to family and friends

I have only positive comments to make about this dental practice. I had severe tooth ache and was able to get an appointment within less than 24 hours. I am an anxious dental patient but was immediately put at my ease. Unfortunately I needed a tooth extraction and was able to have this done without sedation, thanks to the kindness and patience of the team. I was so impressed that I have now changed my dental care to this practice and would highly recommend them, especially if you are nervous 💗

I saw Suzie again today. She was very professional, friendly and reassuring. Made me feel completely at ease. Deane was the dental nurse and he was lovely. The receptionists were very welcoming and helpful. This is a great practice and I would certainly recommend them.

Looked for a new destiny after my previous clinic closed and I couldn’t be more happy with my choice. Booking and getting an appointment is super easy and have great availability so you aren’t waiting months. The dentists and dental technicians are phenomenal, put you at ease and answer any questions. You can clearly feel that the staff enjoy working there as the environment is so welcoming and warm. 100% would recommend and looking forward for my next appointment.

I’m a new patient but I can’t thank them enough. On my first appointment I had a full check up, x-rays and Invisalign scans with Mo (who was fab) and three quotes/estimates to fix what another a dentist messed up. The second appointment was a hygienist visit (she was so lovely) which was the most comfortable and nicest experience I’ve ever had with a cleaning appointment. I’ve now signed up for the dental plan and will be a long term customer.

Upon my first visit, I was pleasantly surprised, felt very comfortable, didn't feel clinical, was greeted very politely by the receptionist. Consultation went really well everything was explained clearly and the questions asked were answered well. I didn't feel pressured into making a decision, that what I was happy about. There was no rush. Absolutely would recommend this practice to others.

Would 100% recommend! All the staff are always pleasant and welcoming. Just starting on my treatment plan journey which will hopefully include implants. Shi has explained everything clearly so far, with always the option to ask questions, which is really important and he has been first class!

The first contact was with a receptionist named Mel, very polite, clear and easy to understand.At my smile consultation, The practice, albeit on a main road, was very easy to find and parking was not an issue.The reception was welcoming /calming and I was quickly dealt with by the staff and asked if I would like a drink while waiting. my smile consultant, Caroline, called me to her consulting room which is very pleasingly decorated and furnished, as was all of the other areas I could see. Her knowledge and listening skills were very good and she spoke in a quiet but clear voice. All the information I needed was passed onto me to peruse at home. I feel confident that if I was to make a second appointment to have the examination by the dentist, that things would go well. I would recommend this practice as a good place to start for any teething problems that people may have. Jim Harrison

I came here from a recommendation from someone else.Usually going to the dentist it looks, smells and sounds like a dentist, this one is nothing like that, without sitting in the dental chair you would never know.Everyone I spoke to was really friendly and made me feel comfortable.I'd recommend Cheadle Hulme Dental to anyone, especially for people like me who hate the dentist, there is always an option to make you feel more comfortable.Coming here has restored my faith in having my teeth worked on and I'm looking forward to going back.

As I've not seen a Dentist for a few years since the Lockdown, I was very anxious before my visit, but as soon as I went in for my appointment everyone was so welcoming, & reassuring & put me at ease! The staff & Dentist are all very nice as well as professional & the practice is thoroughly modern & well designed, especially TV screens in the consultant rooms to take your mind off things! I cannot overstate how happy I am with the service at Cheadle Hulme dental. I have suffered with a phobia of dentists for my whole life and Cheadle Hulme dental practice has changed this for me! They have made me feel comfortable and relaxed at every appointment and I have managed to have some long overdue and much needed surgery and treatment. I went for my first consultation today for teeth whitening and had a lovely lady answer all my questions and explain all the options. I am now booked in again tomorrow to go ahead with it all! For once I feel excited to go to the dentist ! It gives you the complete opposite feel to every other dentist, you feel so comfortable and at ease!Lovely modern dentist and friendly staff.Highly recommend just excited to see the results now!

After years of experiencing dental issues with infections under old bridgework, I am presently having three implants and bone grafts with this practice. I researched a lot before deciding to come to Cheadle Hulme Dental as this is a very intricate surgery.Dr. Shi Karim is a highly skilled and talented surgeon and has been very kind and attentive to my needs. He took the time to explain the treatment process in detail, and both he and his staff make sure that I am comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. His clear planning and attention to detail are impressive, and I always feel reassured that I am in good hands. The timeline plan and estimates are very clear and helpful.Further, he and his team ensure that my treatment was carried out efficiently and effectively. The aftercare is also spot on and reassuring. The team’s caring approach makes all the difference. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate dental surgeon.

I’ve recently decided to have invisalign treatment and went Cheadle Hulme Dental and Cosmetic after seeing their social media posts about their great reputation with invisalign (and other dental treatments)I’m normally quite nervous about going to the dentist, but I couldn’t have been more relaxed here . From entering the reception area which looks more like hotel lobby, instead of feeling anxious I felt at ease. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. The clinic is beautifully presented and is so clean and high tech.I had a first appointment with Kezia who was really informative and friendly. She answered all my questions and I decided the same day to go ahead.My second appointment was with the dentist Mr Raval and the dental nurse Zara. Both were welcoming and professional and I felt in safe hands. I am so glad I made the leap to come to CH for my invisalign and will be thinking about coming here now for all my dental needs as the experience just does not compare to my usual nhs dentist!Thank you

My dentist was very friendly and explained my treatment options clearly and allowed me to ask any questions I had so that I could make informed decisions. The receptionists are very welcoming & efficient. The clinic is top notch & very clean. Susie, my dentist, is brilliant & so, so lovely. I warmed to her immediately & was instantly confident in her expertise. She's always checking I'm ok with everything during procedures, explains everything well & makes you feel 'looked after' & that she cares. Highly recommend.
